We essentially have a two-pronged approach at our FERCHAU branch in Bochum. Our sales area includes regions as diverse as the Münsterland and the Western Ruhr region.
While we primarily support SMEs in the mechanical engineering and customer engineering sectors with Engineering and IT services in the Münsterland region, our focus in the western Ruhr region is on plant engineering and the many plant operators from the chemical and smelting industry. In both regions, the team at FERCHAU Bochum supports companies on site in both Engineering and IT, as well as by taking over total project responsibility for comprehensive outsourcing solutions.

In our IT division, we are developing versatile future-centric solutions in software and infrastructure projects, audits and digitalisation – in particular through proof-of-concepts, design of software architectures, implementation and testing. In addition, our team of experts at FERCHAU Bochum provides seamless operational transition and reliable systems and IT infrastructure support.
Core work in Engineering includes the layout, calculation and design of steel and plant engineering. In custom engineering, our team of experts is involved from the concept development to the final design, calculation/FEM and statics, down to the creation of linear and non-linear calculations. Our Basic and Detailed Engineering sections incorporate process engineering, hydraulic and mechanical designs, as well as electrical/measurement, control and regulation technology work and all fields of technical documentation.
