In the far north, there is an industry that is particularly well-represented in all its facets: the maritime industry. Our FERCHAU Oldenburg branch, which has deep roots in the region, has been providing this industry with highly specialised technology services for decades and, together with the most important companies, makes innovative maritime technologies fit for the future.
With the exception of the urban area of Bremen, we at FERCHAU Oldenburg provide services, from the coastal region to deep in the heart of Lower Saxony. The key activities include not only shipbuilding and wind energy (on and offshore) but also plant engineering and mechanical engineering. Our engineering specialists provide them with tailored support. For example, they retrofit marine engines for liquid natural gas (LNG) or install ballast water treatment facilities. They also take on pipeline coordination, carry out all electro-technical work and take on responsibilities in quality, project and environmental management.

Our information technology services are also more and more frequently in demand. In this area, our IT consultants provide support in software development for large mobile cranes and in other topics such as Industry 4.0 or application development.
