E&I Engineer- Gas Plants (m/f/d)

This will be your future job

Involvement in the execution and analysis of projects for gas plants on LNG and LPG carriers, both onshore and offshore
Development of system designs and preparation of engineering documentation
Defining equipment specifications for procurement, evaluating technical bids, reviewing vendor documentation, and maintaining communication with suppliers
Ensuring the smooth flow of relevant technical information across various engineering teams
Preparation of electrical documentation such as wiring diagrams, instrument lists, cable schedules, etc
Providing technical clarifications to customers, suppliers, third parties (e.g., Classification Societies), and shipyards
Participating in design reviews, including Hazop sessions and 3D model evaluations
Offering technical support during commissioning and startup phases, including involvement in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) at supplier facilities

Your profile

At least 3 years of relevant professional experience
Experience with EPLAN (preferred but not essential) and AutoCAD Electrical
Experience in Maritime/ Oil & Gas/ OR process industry engineering
Strong technical knowledge of electrical motors, VFDs, MCCs, electrical cabinets, pressure/temperature/flow/level instruments, fire and gas detection systems, etc
Familiarity with the regulations of relevant Classification Societies for the marine industry (e.g., DNV, BV, LRS, ABS)
Willingness to travel for occasional business trips as required
Ability to work effectively within a multinational team
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken (min. B2 level)
BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering or a related field
